What Loky does

Loky is a focus and screen-time tool. It locks apps you choose using Apple’s Screen Time framework, on the schedule and limits you set. It is not a medical or mental-health service, and it cannot guarantee any particular change in your habits.

Locks are enforced by iOS. Depending on your house rules and iOS settings, you may be able to end a lock early, and iOS updates can change how blocking behaves.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to it secure. You must be at least 13 to use Loky.

Subscriptions and payment

Loky Pro is a paid subscription, bought through the App Store. Apple takes the payment and holds the billing relationship — we never see your card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can cancel any time in your Apple ID subscription settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are in.

Introductory or discounted offers, where shown, apply to the first period only and renew at the regular price.

Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy, not by us.

We may change the price. If we do, you will be told before it applies to you, and you can cancel rather than accept it.

Acceptable use

Do not reverse engineer, resell, or scrape the service; do not try to break its security or access another user’s data; and do not use it for anything unlawful.

Our content, your content

The app, its design, the Loky character, the café art and the software are ours. The information you enter stays yours — you grant us only the licence needed to store it and show it back to you.

Availability and liability

Loky is provided "as is". We work to keep it running but do not promise it is uninterrupted or error free.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including anything missed because an app was locked. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your statutory consumer rights, which these terms do not affect.

Ending it

You can stop using Loky and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Danish law, and disputes go to the courts of Denmark. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts.
